artist statement:
The
first crayon that created the “Stickman” of my dreams
kept me interested in art and artistry. A
successful career in photographic modeling, fashion
shows, promotion advertising and television commercials
has nurtured an artistic drive.
The love of watercolors
carried me through floral, landscape, still life
and my own greeting cards dubbed “HollyGrams.” I
am presently working on illustrations for two children’s
books that are very challenging, but fun.
I was a member
of Del Mar Art Center in Del Mar, CA, where my work
was continually exhibited from January 2000 – January
2004. The relationship with the Del Mar Art
Center allowed me to establish customer/client relationships
from New York to California. I have
also been commissioned to paint particular scenes
from seascapes to photographs for my clients.
I currently devote
all my time to the things in life that mean the
most to me, my family, and my art.
